🗺️ Choropleth Map
id plotly_choropleth · Maps · Python export: yes
Colour regions by a numeric value using Plotly's built-in shapes — US states (two-letter codes), countries (ISO-3 codes or names). Works offline; blank column fields use the first two columns (region, value).
Inputs
| Port | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
dataframe | DataFrame | Table with one row per region: a region code / name and a value. |
Outputs
| Port | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
dataframe | DataFrame | The input table, unchanged (the map is shown on the node). |
Fields
| Field | Type | Default | Choices |

🌡️ Map Density Heatmap
id plotly_density_map · Maps · Python export: yes

|---|---|---|
dataframe | DataFrame | Table with one row per point (latitude and longitude columns). |
Outputs

⬡ Map Hexbin
id plotly_hexbin_map · Maps · Python export: yes
Bin points into hexagonal cells and colour each by its point count or by an aggregate (sum, average, min, max) of a numeric column. Blank latitude / longitude fields use columns named 'lat' and 'lon'.

✈️ Map Lines
id plotly_lines_map · Maps · Python export: yes
Draw each row as a line between a start and an end latitude / longitude — flight routes, supply lines, or the edges of a graph whose nodes have real coordinates. Optionally label lines on hover, scale their width by a column, and mark the endpoints.
Inputs
| Port | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
dataframe | DataFrame | Table with one row per line: start and end latitude / longitude columns. |
Outputs
| Port | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
dataframe | DataFrame | The input table, unchanged (the map is shown on the node). |
Fields
| Field | Type | Default | Choices |
