Plotlyโ€‹

๐ŸงŠ 3D Scatterโ€‹

id plotly_scatter_3d ยท Plotly ยท Python export: yes

Interactive 3D scatter of three columns (drag to rotate). Blank X / Y / Z use the first three numeric columns. A categorical 'Colour by' column gives one coloured, legend-labelled trace per value.

Inputs

PortTypeDescription
dataframeDataFrameTable to plot (a list / array is coerced to a DataFrame).

Outputs

PortTypeDescription
dataframeDataFrameThe input table, unchanged (the figure is shown on the node).

Fields

FieldTypeDefaultChoices
X columntext
Y columntext
Z columntext
Colour by column (optional, categorical)text

๐Ÿ“‰ Bar Chartโ€‹

id plotly_bar ยท Plotly ยท Python export: yes

Bar chart of one column's values against another's categories. Blank column fields default to the first two columns.

Inputs

PortTypeDescription
dataframeDataFrameTable to plot (a list / array is coerced to a DataFrame).
styledictOptional Plotly trace options merged into the trace, e.g. {"marker": {"color": "red"}}. Overrides the style field when connected.

Outputs

PortTypeDescription
dataframeDataFrameThe input table, unchanged (the figure is shown on the node).

๐ŸŽป Box / Violin Plotโ€‹

id plotly_box ยท Plotly ยท Python export: yes

Box or violin plot comparing distributions. Long layout: name a Value column and a Group column (one box per group). Wide layout: leave both blank and every numeric column gets its own box. Boxes show the mean as a dashed line.

Inputs

PortTypeDescription
dataframeDataFrameTable to plot (a list / array is coerced to a DataFrame).

Outputs

PortTypeDescription
dataframeDataFrameThe input table, unchanged (the figure is shown on the node).

๐ŸŸฅ Heatmapโ€‹

id plotly_heatmap ยท Plotly ยท Python export: yes

Heatmap of a numeric table โ€” columns across, rows (index) down โ€” e.g. a Correlation Matrix. 'Centre at 0' makes the colour scale symmetric about zero (right for correlations and differences); values can be printed in each cell.

Inputs

PortTypeDescription
dataframeDataFrameNumeric table / matrix to colour (non-numeric columns are ignored).

Outputs

PortTypeDescription
dataframeDataFrameThe input table, unchanged (the heatmap is shown on the node).

๐Ÿ“Š Histogramโ€‹

id plotly_histogram ยท Plotly ยท Python export: yes

Histogram of one DataFrame column. A blank column field uses the first column.

Inputs

PortTypeDescription
dataframeDataFrameTable to plot (a list / array is coerced to a DataFrame).
styledictOptional Plotly trace options merged into the trace, e.g. {"marker": {"color": "red"}}. Overrides the style field when connected.

Outputs

๐Ÿฅง Pie Chartโ€‹

id plotly_pie ยท Plotly ยท Python export: yes

Pie or donut chart from a labels column and a values column. Set Hole above 0 for a donut.

Outputs

๐Ÿ“‰ Scatter + Histogramsโ€‹

id plotly_scatter_hist ยท Plotly ยท Python export: yes

Scatter plot of two columns with a histogram of each on its margin (MATLAB's scatterhist). Blank X / Y use the first two numeric columns. A categorical 'Colour by' column overlays one scatter and histogram per group.

Inputs

PortTypeDescription
dataframeDataFrameTable to plot (a list / array is coerced to a DataFrame).

Outputs

PortTypeDescription
dataframeDataFrameThe input table, unchanged (the figure is shown on the node).

๐Ÿ”ณ Scatter Matrixโ€‹

id plotly_scatter_matrix ยท Plotly ยท Python export: yes

Scatter-plot matrix (like MATLAB's plotmatrix / seaborn's pairplot): every numeric column plotted against every other, with a histogram of each column on the diagonal. Upper triangle shows scatter, the Pearson correlation, or nothing. Name a categorical 'Colour by' column (e.g. 'source' = original / synthetic, or class labels) to overlay groups. Columns: comma-separated, blank = all numeric (max 8).

Inputs

PortTypeDescription
dataframeDataFrameTable to plot (a list / array is coerced to a DataFrame).

Outputs

PortTypeDescription
dataframeDataFrameThe input table, unchanged (the figure is shown on the node).

๐Ÿ“ˆ Scatter Plotโ€‹

id plotly_scatter ยท Plotly ยท Python export: yes

Interactive scatter / line plot of one DataFrame column against another. Blank column fields default to the first two columns. Name a 'Colour by' column (e.g. cluster labels, class, or a numeric value) to colour the points: few distinct values get a legend, a continuous numeric column gets a colour scale.

Inputs

PortTypeDescription
dataframeDataFrameTable to plot (a list / array is coerced to a DataFrame).
styledictOptional Plotly trace options merged into the trace, e.g. {"marker": {"color": "red"}}. Overrides the style field when connected.
